On October 12, 2018, the final of the third national university student urban management competition sponsored by China Association of Regional Sciences and Urban Management Professional Committee kicked off in Capital University of Economics and Business. Representatives of teachers and students from our college went to Beijing to participate in this competition.
After months of preparation, the three finalists of our college successfully entered the finals through preliminary selection. Under the careful guidance of many teachers of our college, they stood out from 156 teams of 53 universities across the country and won one second prize and two third prizes respectively.
Under the guidance of our college’s teacher Zhang Qinjie, Fang Qiujun, Wang Jinxin, byalick, Wu Yuxin, Wu li hui completed " The support mechanism of floating population in urban primary level community research - take Changban community Tianhe district in Guangzhou as an example ", won the second prize in the compettion. Under the guidance of Ye Yajian, Li Xiaotong, Liang Xiaomin, Liang Junrong completed "Silver dining time - based on the research of the problems and solutions of Guangzhou’s university sharing canteen with the old " and under the guidance of Sun Jiachun, Xie Qianqian, He Jiana, Li Boyang, Liang Dunheng completed entries " Intensive level of land use ecosystem assessment in Shenzhen " won the contest third prize respectively. The leader and instructor of this competition is Liang Tingjun from our college.
The competition is sponsored by China Association of Regional Sciences and Urban Management Professional Committee, and organized by Capital University of Economics and Business. The competition is open to full-time undergraduate and postgraduate students from universities across the country and aims to provide a platform for students concerned with urban management and urban construction to explore and communicate.
Before this competition, the three finalists of our school, under the guidance of their respective instructors, conducted in-depth field research and obtained first-hand data of the research. They wrote and completed the research report, then stood out in the fierce preliminary competition and final selection, achieving great achievements.
The achievement of this competition is inseparable from the students' solid preparation, full investigation, as well as the guidance of teachers' careful guidance and experience inheritance, which is another result of the college's undergraduate enrollment, education and teaching reform and talent training mode innovation and practice, and also the crystallization of the collective wisdom of strengthening "three complete education" and practical teaching!
