Teacher Qu Xia of our college was approved for the establishment of the 2019 National Social Science Fund later funding project
On September 27, 2019, the National Office of Philosophy and Social Sciences announced the list of projects approved by the National Social Science Fund in late 2019. Dr. Qu Xia, Deputy Director of Department of Sociology, was awarded for the late-stage funded projects of the National Social Science Fund in 2019 by the Research of the Late Qing Commerce Bureau.
The Research on the Late Qing Commerce Bureau mainly described and analyzed the development and changes of the Late Qing Commerce Bureau from the perspective of the interrelationship between society and system, reflecting the late Qing's repositioning of commerce and the resulting institutional changes. On the basis of previous studies, the author, through empirical research on the Commercial Bureau of the late Qing Dynasty, jumped out of the economic history and grasped the development and changes of the Commercial Bureau from the social changes and institutional transformation in modern China, showing that “the system has actually changed, but the margin of regulation is not clear ”.
