Students Participated in the 2017 Chinese Public Policy Case Study Competition

On Aug 26, in the final of the 2017 Tsinghua University Chinese Public Policy Case Study Competition jointly hold by the Tsinghua University Public Administration College and the UN Development Programme ended successfully. The “yuan”team,guided by Zhang Wenwen, teacher from our college, Ao Zhuoying, Huang Jiaxi, Li Jingyi and Jian Yingying from college of Food Science as its members, made one of the last 23 final teams, which were selected from 447 teams from 156 colleges and universities home and abroad. The case analysis report Where the Schools for Peasant Workers ' Children to Go composed by the team was successfully recorded into the China Public Management Case Bank, becoming one of the final 13 cases recorded by the case bank of the undergraduate teams.

This competition facing all the full-time undergraduate and postgraduate throughout the country, which is carried out in accord with the MOU signed by the Tsinghua University Public Administration College and the UN Development Programme representative office stationed in China, centers on Chinese practise of the 17 UN sustainable development goals to select topics, aiming to stimulate students to start in the specific case and actively pay attention to the public policy problems, deeply understand the current Chinese national conditions, practically increase the awareness of acute issues, scientific analysis ability and innovation thinking pattern.
