Program Objectives

 Students are provided with opportunities to master the most current theories and methods in the field of Public Administration. Students will be able to use comprehensively the theories in management studies, public administration, economics and other related fields of research. Students will also learn to do research on the operations and regulations of public organizations and become familiar with the related policies. Students will be equipped with current management qualities with broad interdisciplinary expertise in public administration.

Specialty Orientations

 In order to meet the needs of the society and cultivate high-quality experts, the Department of Public Affairs Management offers two modules for specialty orientation. The students can select the module according to their personal interests.

Public Affairs Management Module: Nurtures future specialist to work in administration and related jobs in the party and government departments as well as in enterprises and institutions.

Public Sector Human Resource Management Module: Prepares students for party and government departments, enterprises and institutions, social organizations and other public sectors where they will be responsible of the administration, personnel management, business administration, human resources management and other related areas. The department has been working with several well-known enterprises to establish tow-way order-based teaching and training model.

 Principles of Management Science, Public Management, Theories and Methods in Social Survey, Quantitative Analysis for Management, Project Management, Public Sector Human Resource Management, Human Resource Development and Management, Employee Recruitment and Performance Evaluation, Performance Management, Remuneration Management, Employee Relationship Management, Labor Law, etc.
