From November 9th to 10th, our faculty accepted the on-the-ground pre-evaluation by two experts, Professor and Vice President Wu Ping of Huazhong Agricultural University as well as Professor Zhu Yikun, the dean of Jinan University Law School.
Having had a look at the in-class instruction, Professor Zhu recognized the teachers’ efforts to explore a new approach——to make classes academic salons. Zhu also made some suggestions over the alignment of desks and chairs with such a teaching method. When having a panel discussion with the members of the leadership, subject directors and academic deans, Zhu indicated his satisfaction with the faculty’s concentration on undergraduate teaching and commitment to securing progress. Besides, he looked over the classrooms with adjustable desks and chairs, reference rooms, teaching archives and labs.
Professor Wu paid a visit to the off-campus practice base——the Integrated Family Service Center subject to Wudao Street Office in Tianhe District.
