Touch the living China and inspire the young. The 8th "Youth China Tour" summer research practice competition has come to an end. 1,506 teams from 166 universities including Tsinghua university, Peking University, Sun Yat-sen university and the university of Hong Kong participated in the competition. The team composed of Zhang Jiaomei, Lin Jingyu, Guo Liying, Wang Liang, Zhong Zhengjiang and other undergraduates of our college stood out from the competition and won the title of "top 30 team in China", becoming the only team in Guangdong university to advance to top 30 in China. At the same time, Professor Shi Chuanlin of our college was awarded the "top 30 national team" excellent instructor.
The summer research and practice activity of "Young China Tour" is co-sponsored by China weekly, a comprehensive news magazine under the charge of the central committee of the communist youth league, and China youth elite program. The purpose of "Youth China Tour" is to provide professional guidance and financial support for the excellent team of college students who pay attention to the social development of China and deeply understand the social conditions of China, so as to promote the contact and thinking of contemporary college students on the social development of China.
