Since the launch of the contest in July 2018, a total of 192 teams from more than 80 colleges and universities such as Peking University, Tsinghua University, Renmin University of China, and Sun Yat-sen University have entered the competition. After the pre-review of the preliminary topic report and the selection of the preliminary case of the preliminary contest, I The two teams in the hospital were selected as the top 16 in the national finals. In the semi-finals, two teams from our school, teams from Renmin University of China and other universities competed in case analysis, the two sides argued and summed up the words, showing a good Academic foundation and level of debate.
This is the second time that our students have participated in this competition. This achievement is inseparable from the solid preparation and full investigation of the students, as well as the instructor's careful guidance and experience, showing the spirit of the students in our school. It is conducive to guiding our students to consolidate their theoretical foundations in practice, actively participate in public management practices, and actively contribute ideas for public policy formulation and state governance.
The teachers who led the competition were Zheng Haosheng, Zhang Zixin and Liang Tingjun. During the competition, Xu Jingyang, deputy secretary of the Party Committee of the School of Public Administration of Renmin University of China, and Chen Xia, the secretary of the Youth League Committee, and the teacher of our Institute, Liang Tingjun, had an in-depth exchange on the innovation and entrepreneurship of social science students.
