On November 23, 2018, from 15:00-17:00 pm, the Guangdong Provincial Public Diplomacy Association held the third "Guangdong Public Diplomacy Forum" report meeting in the Guangdong Provincial Political Consultative Conference Hall.
The association invited the former deputy director of the Foreign Affairs Office of the State Council, the former Chinese ambassador to the United Kingdom, the former director of the US Department of Foreign Affairs, and the former director of the China Institute of International Studies Ma Zhenang as a lecture on " relations and bilateral hot issues." The lecture began with General Secretary Xi Jinping's "historical view" that must be established when dealing with the international situation. It reviewed the developments and changes of China-US relations since the founding of the People's Republic of China, and deeply analyzed the profound connotations behind the China-US trade war and China. Bilateral relations with other countries were explained. Finally, it analyzed the unpredictable world diplomacy and pointed out the development direction of public diplomacy. Six students from the college of Public Administration of our school participated in the report. Through this report, we can understand the national conditions and clarify how relations should continue to move in the right direction.
