During the winter vacation of the first semester of 2018-2019, the third course of the 9th Youth League School of the School of Public Administration was successfully held.
The third course of this youth league school is divided into practical research activities and online selection activities. Among them, the participants in the practical research activities studied in depth the spirit of socialism with Chinese characteristics in the new era of General Secretary Xi Jinping through personal practice and group cooperation. The online selection activity is based on the results of the students' on-the-spot investigation and combined with the subject of the course to shoot creative videos and select the best popularity award and the most creative award.

The participants carried out research on the themes of deepening the study of the spirit of the 40th anniversary of reform and opening up, deepening the study of general secretary Xi Jinping's theory of socialism with Chinese characteristics in the new era and reliving the red road and learning the red spirit. Visit flower city square and Guangzhou Urban Planning and Exhibition Center to feel the new look of Guangzhou after 40 years of reform and opening up. Following in the footsteps of General Secretary Xi, he went to Yongqing Square to earnestly study the spirit of General Secretary Xi Jinping's visit to Guangdong's important speech. Social practice activities have given students living in the ivory tower of the city the opportunity to contact and understand the grassroots. Going deep into the grass-roots level and having heart-to-heart talks with the grass-roots masses, new sparks have emerged from ideological clashes. We have learned a lot from what we cannot learn from books, learned rich nutrition, understood the real meaning of coming from the masses and going to the masses, and realized that only by going to practice and the grassroots, and linking the fate of individuals with that of society and the country, can youth grow up and become useful.
