The faculty and staff of the School of Public Management collectively study the "Outline of Development Planning for the Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao Greater Bay Area"
On the afternoon of March 7, all the faculty and staff of the School of Public Management carefully studied the "Outline of the Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao Greater Bay Area Development Plan" issued by the Central Committee of the Communist Party of China and the State Council, and fully understood the great practical and profound historical significance of the construction of the Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao Greater Bay Area.
At the meeting, Dean Zhang Yu learned the "Outline of the Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao Greater Bay Area Development Plan" chapter by chapter. She said that the "Outline" clearly stated that “The development of the Greater Bay Area and of a world-class city cluster will facilitate the enrichment of the implementation of “one country, two systems” and foster closer cooperation between the Mainland and the two SARs, thereby maintaining the long-term prosperity and stability of Hong Kong and Macao.It will facilitate the implementation of the new vision of development and support the continued growth in innovation capability and competitiveness of the Chinese economy.It will facilitate the further deepening of reform and further opening up and the development of a new platform for high-level international cooperation.It will facilitate the advancement of the Belt and Road Initiative and develop into an important support area for the convergence of the Silk Road Economic Belt and the 21st Century Maritime Silk Road.” She led everyone to learn about the background, implementation period, policy intention, basic principles, strategic positioning, development goals, spatial layout and other aspects of the construction of the Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao Greater Bay Area.Combining with her own scientific research experience and the development status of our college, she encouraged everyone to actively apply for the project from six aspects of technological innovation, infrastructure construction, modern industry development, financial services, livability and industry travel, and joint participation in the construction of the "Belt and Road", so as to jointly participate in the construction of the Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao Greater Bay Area.
Dean Zhang Yu also reminded all party members to strengthen their study of "Learning to Strengthen the Country", Secretary Li Dasheng and President Liu Yahong's speech at the new semester work conference.
Subsequently, Deputy Dean Liao Yang conveyed the school's undergraduate teaching evaluation and rectification time, the proposed two documents on "undergraduate education implementation opinions" and "three full education", and arranged for the application of school-level education and teaching achievement awards.
