Recently, the MOOC video of Anthropology and Modern Lifetaught by Liao Yang and Wang Yufeng of our college was published online in the MOOC Hall of Learning to be a Great PowerGuangdong Learning Platform.
This coursewas led by Professor Liao Yang, and Associate Professor Wang Yufeng. Professor Liao is Deputy Dean of School of Public Management, National Outstanding Expert of Social Science Popularization masters, Excellent Talent of the New Century of the Ministry of Education. The content of this online course included five aspects, including modern marriage and family, modern spiritual life, public health, consumer culture and ethnic identity, cultural exchange and civilization integration, which is suitable for party and government leaders at all levels, cadres and staff of enterprises, college teachers and students and the public to learn and reference.
From the perspective of localized anthropologists in China, China ’s rich historical culture and complex and realistic society contain some unique Chinese local concepts such ashuman view, thing view, material view and social view of neutral education, as well as cosmic view with the unity of heaven and human and so on. These concepts form a synergy with the core values of our socialism, and together nurture and shape the great Chinese nation. Withprofound research and solid knowledge, Liao Yang and Wang Yufeng led everyone to understand traditional culture and tap the excellent cultural resources of the Chinese nation, understand modern social life, enhance humanistic quality and cultural literacy, and strengthen the cultural confidence of the Chinese nation.
Learning to be a Great Power came online on January 1, 2019, and is headed by the Central Propaganda Department. It is a PC terminal + mobile client two-in-one learning platform based on in-depth study and promotion of Xi Jinping’s new era of socialism with Chinese characteristics.
